James Anest-Broker
Jim Anest brings 25 years of real estate experience to the Anest Team and will personally oversee the contract preparation, document review, negotiations, counter-offers and the review of title: all of which is most important to a successful closing. Jim is an active and licensed Colorado Attorney who has practiced in the State of Colorado since 1987. Previously, he was admitted to the State Bar in Wyoming and obtained his license in 1980. Jim is a member of the Real Estate section of the Colorado Bar Association. He has been involved in real estate development and ownership interests in ventures throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. As an acquisition and development attorney, he was involved in several shopping centers, apartment projects and residential/agricultural developments. The combined per-square footage of these retail, commercial and residential properties exceed one million square feet and has closed, participated in the pre-sale negotiations, contract drafting, due diligence review and research and closings that exceed $150,000,000.00. He has served as the primary lead for the acquisition, financing, construction, and development of various real estate ventures and properties. As an active attorney in the State of Colorado, he has also been significantly involved in real estate development including zoning, annexations and other issues facing developers in the acquisition and sale of individual residential properties, commercial land as well as ranch/agricultural land and distressed property sales. The combination of actual hands on experience as a developer/owner and third party attorney has given him the unique experience necessary for all types of real estate ventures.
